Sticky and Shiny

Sticky and Shiny is a performance–audio piece presented at Sklep Galeria Karowa as part of Drip drip, leaking underwear, the dance floor and the streets — the first Polish exhibition devoted to menstruation, curated by the feminist collective Pink Box.
The work merges an intimate audio recording — a candid conversation between the artist and her girlfriend about menstruation — with a dance involving strange, erotically charged anthurium flowers, those glossy blooms so often seen in Catholic churches.
